What we do

What we do

Bathrooms are the heart of our work. Most of our calls start with a homeowner who is tired of a dated tub, a leaky shower or a bathroom that no longer fits the way they live. We can help with:

01

Walk-in showers and tub-to-shower conversions.

We remove the old tub or fiberglass insert, adjust plumbing for the new layout, build and waterproof the shower, and tile it. Options include niches, benches, curbs or low-threshold entries, and glass.

02

Tile surrounds and floors.

Large-format wall tile, subway tile, mosaic and patterned floors, accent bands.

03

Vanities, fixtures and lighting.

New vanities, faucets, toilets, mirrors and vanity lights.

04

Accessibility updates.

Grab bars, benches, low or curbless entries and easier-to-use fixtures for aging in place.

05

Full renovations.

Taking a bathroom down to the studs and rebuilding it, including drywall, paint and finish carpentry.

Our process

Our process

We keep the process simple and explain each step before it happens, so there are no surprises.

  1. 1

    Walkthrough.

Gonzalo visits your home, measures, looks at the existing plumbing and listens to what you want.

  2. 2

    Written, itemized scope.

You get a proposal broken out by trade, with allowances and exclusions clearly stated, including items like glass, permits or concealed damage when they are not included.

  3. 3

    Selections and scheduling.

We help you choose tile, fixtures and finishes and order materials. Custom items such as glass can add lead time, and we tell you up front.

  4. 4

    Demolition and protection.

We protect floors and nearby rooms, then remove the old finishes.

  5. 5

    Rough-in and repairs.

Plumbing and any electrical changes, plus repairs to framing or subfloor if we find damage behind the walls.

  6. 6

    Waterproofing and backer.

The part you never see and the part that matters most. The shower is prepped and waterproofed before any tile goes up.

  7. 7

    Tile and fixtures.

Tile, grout, glass, vanity, toilet, trim and lights.

  8. 8

    Clean-up and punch list.

We walk the finished bathroom with you and fix anything on the list before we call it done.

Bathroom remodeling FAQs

Bathroom remodeling FAQs

Do you do tub-to-shower conversions?+

Yes. Tub-to-walk-in-shower conversions are one of our most common jobs. We remove the tub, adjust the drain and valve, build and waterproof the new shower, and finish it with tile and, if you want, glass, a niche or a bench.

How much does a bathroom remodel cost in St. George?+

It depends on the scope, so we give each homeowner a free, itemized written quote instead of a one-size price. The biggest cost drivers are layout or drain changes, tile size and pattern, glass, fixture choices and any damage found behind the walls.

How long does a bathroom remodel take?+

A shower conversion takes less time than a full gut remodel, and custom items like glass can add lead time. We give you a schedule with your written scope.

Do I need a permit for a bathroom remodel?+

Cosmetic updates often don't, but plumbing, electrical or structural changes usually do. Rules are set by your city's building department, so we check the current requirements for your city and coordinate permits when they're needed.

Can you make a bathroom more accessible?+

Yes. We install low-threshold or curbless shower entries, grab bars, benches and easier-to-reach fixtures, so the bathroom works well for aging in place.

What happens if you find water damage behind the walls?+

We stop, show you what we found with photos, and explain the repair and its cost before we continue. Concealed damage is listed in our scope so it's never a surprise on the final bill.

Are you licensed?+

Yes. Elevated View Construction (Elevated View Services LLC) holds Utah DOPL contractor license #13246369-5501. You can verify it on the Utah DOPL license lookup.

Which areas do you serve for bathroom remodels?+

We serve St. George, Hurricane, Washington, Ivins, La Verkin, Cedar City and Enoch, Utah, across Washington and Iron counties.
